Festival and fair organizers use branded pet products as sponsor gifts, vendor thank-yous, volunteer rewards and giveaways at a dog-friendly area, all made in the event's name and colors: bandanas, bowls, plush toys and waste-bag holders. PrideBites makes these to order with a free mockup, minimums set per size and per design, and production of six to eight weeks before shipping.
This guide is for the event director, marketing manager or sponsorship lead at a music festival, county or state fair, food festival or community event deciding whether a pet program is worth adding.

Why would a festival or fair offer pet products?
Events that allow dogs, or that host a dog-friendly area, reach a household member that most event merchandise ignores. Roughly 95 million U.S. households own a pet (APPA), so an event with any dog-friendly space will meet attendees who bring or think about their dog.
A branded pet item also works as a keepsake. It carries the event's name and year home with the attendee and stays visible in daily life, and pet owners are fiercely loyal to brands that acknowledge their animals. For an event that depends on returning attendees and sponsors, that is a small signal that the organizer sees the whole household.
What does a festival or fair pet program include?
- Bandanas. One size, easy to hand out at a gate or booth, and a natural place for the event logo and year.
- Bowls. Collapsible travel bowls suit an outdoor event where water is the first need for a dog.
- Plush toys. A keepsake in the event's colors or mascot. The Original PrideBite is the award-winning flagship.
- Waste-bag holders. A low-cost item for a dog-friendly area that keeps the grounds tidy and carries the event name.
- Apparel and collars. A premium tier for the merchandise tent or for sponsors and volunteers.
Start with one or two items. A bandana and a collapsible bowl are enough to run a dog-friendly area and see what attendees take home.
Where does it fit in the event?
- Dog-friendly area. A branded bowl or bandana at the water station or entry gives the space an identity.
- Sponsor packages. A pet item as a sponsor benefit, or a co-branded item that carries the sponsor's logo beside the event's. The sports team guide covers how teams use pet merchandise.
- Vendor and volunteer gifts. A small branded item for the people who make the event run.
- Merchandise tent and online store. A pet line sold beside the event shirts and posters, and kept online after the event ends.
- Social sharing. Photos of dogs in the event's bandana carry the event's name. The social media giveaway guide covers how to encourage it.
For plush as an event giveaway, see the event and trade show giveaway plush guide. For annual events that reuse a design, see the seasonal merchandise guide.
How do minimums work for an event?
The minimum order quantity is per size and per design, and sizes cannot be mixed to reach a minimum. One-size items such as bandanas and toys are the simplest place to start for that reason. Custom plush can go down to 250 units for a design, and quantity price breaks apply at thresholds that vary by product. The minimum order guide explains the rules in detail.
An event that repeats each year can plan a design with the event name but not the year, so unsold stock carries over to the next edition.
What is the timeline?
Production is six to eight weeks and does not include shipping time. Custom plush can vary by complexity. Count back from the event date, add transit, and add the design and approval step in front of that. For a summer or fall event, that means starting well before the lineup is announced.
The design step is free. A custom mockup typically comes back within about 48 hours with no cost and no commitment, which gives the organizer something concrete to show sponsors. Free samples are available through an account executive.
Safety and sourcing

Frequently asked questions
What is the best first item for a festival or fair?
A bandana or a collapsible bowl. Bandanas are one size, so the per-size minimum is simple, and both are easy to hand out and carry the event logo clearly.
Can a sponsor's logo go on the item too?
Ask for a free mockup that shows the sponsor's logo beside the event's. Products are made to your colors, logo and artwork, and the mockup, typically back within about 48 hours, lets everyone see the result before anything is ordered.
Is this a giveaway or something we sell?
Either. An event can hand the item out at a dog-friendly area or sell it in the merchandise tent. The same design can serve both, provided the order meets the minimum for that design.
Do we need pet industry experience?
No. PrideBites handles design, production and fulfillment from brief to doorstep and has worked with more than 500 brand partners. The event brings its brand and its audience.
